SAPGUI Installation Server: A central installation source, usually installed on a server accessible to all users and managed by a system administrator. SAP Logon: A component of the SAPGUI installation for managing server connections. SAP Frontend: An alternative name for SAPGUI. SAPGUI: The SAP Graphical User Interface the standard client, usually installed locally on each end user’s workstation also written as SAP GUI.
